“ Gorgeous place on a cute street with sick goulash! And beer…and fries. …and service! Was about to skip that goulash thing but suddenly mr.Milan C came out of nowhere and offered me to pay my goulash if i dont like it. I did paid my meal with such pleasure! Was amazing! Anyway big up for the FACTORY! GG ”
“ Adam made us feel very welcome and offered sound advice on both food and drink. We had the cabbage soup followed by the pork knuckle, both of which were delicious and very substantial! Both accompanied with local Pilsner beer and Sauvignon Blanc white wine which again were excellent. We couldn’t manage a dessert but managed a couple of glasses of Slivovice to help us on the way! Highly recommended. ”
“ Food was brilliant, paid far higher in the uk and wasn’t a patch on what we ate here. Adam served us, great laugh, best waiter in Bratislava by far. Highly recommend. ”
“ Food here is delicious, hearty and, in our opinion, better than Flagship. We had the pork cheeks that was absolutely melt-in-your mouth delicious, the traditional dumplings with sour cabbage (that prevented it from tasting too rich) and the honest beer goulash, very very good as well. Service was friendly and the atmosphere cozy. ”
“ Our family of 5 adults and 1 child ordered 2 sour cabbage soup, 1 fried salmon, 1 pork knuckle and 1 traditional potato dumpling with sheep cheese and a portion of fries on the side. We managed to share everything with each other. The sour cream cabbage soup was a bit warm for my taste, would have been better if served hot. The traditional potato dumpling was creamy and tasted nice but a little more bacon would have been more fulfilled. The pork knuckle is average. The fried salmon with creamy sauce was tender, complemented well with the asparagus and grilled baby potatoes. What I need to highlight from our experience was the service. Our attending waitor has provided one of the best services that we have seen throughout many of our trips across Europe and probably unrivalled in Bratislava. The staff is really a people person, made very good eye contacts, showed patience and a true connection with customers. He made a mistake in one of the orders and gave us a beer on the house. This level of people oriented service I have only seen in Dublin, Ireland. Eventhough we do not know his name, we would like to wish him all the best. Lastly, I’d like to talk about the atmosphere. This narrow street is a true gem, just off the historic Michalská ulica. Sitting here under the night lights, enjoying traditional Slovak dishes, you almost feel transported back to medieval times. We originally planned to dine at Meanto, but it was full. Without hesitation, we crossed over to Century Pub right opposite. They offer similar traditional Slovakian dishes with charming outdoor seating. Under the night sky, with the soft glow of streetlamps and restaurant lights, it was truly a beautiful experience, romantic, timeless, and steeped in history. ”
“ Great spot for lunch or dinner. Enjoyed it so much that we went back another time. Special thank you to Milan whose friendliness and good service just lights up your day. ”
“ We had an amazing experience last night. We were just spending one night in the area and wanted to find a place that had traditional food. Many kitchens closed by 9 pm in the area and after having this place on our list it was a blessing everyone closed early. It worked out we were able to experience good food and beer, along with the great service from our server Milan. He made some suggestions since their kitchen was closing and got an order in of the goulash which my wife thoroughly enjoyed. In addition he suggested the dumpling dish which I enjoyed. If you want to have the odds in your favor of a great experience, I'd definitely recommend a visit. I searched a lot of authentic Slovakia places, few were over 4 stars, and this one lived up to a 5 star experience. ”
“ We had such an amazing time on our dinner that we went back next day for lunch as we were curious to taste more. It was really great! Food rich in flavor and staff friendly. ”
